Koala Glass Warranty & Guarantee Information

At Koala Glass, we take pride in the quality of our products and workmanship. All services come with warranties to give you confidence and peace of mind.

🔧 Glass Replacement Warranty

We offer glass replacement and repair for windows and doors, covering:

  • Defective glass or cracks not visible at installation.

  • Workmanship issues during the replacement process.

Important Information:

  • Claims must be made as soon as possible. Contact us during business hours.

  • Breakage after installation will be inspected to determine the cause (e.g. impact marks may void warranty).

  • Repairs under warranty will be carried out on-site or at our Sandgate workshop (as applicable).

  • Only replaced components are covered. Existing parts like rollers and handles are not included.

  • Timber windows may experience minor damage during work — we’ll minimise and repair this with wood putty. If replacement timber beading is needed, this is at the customer’s expense.

  • Windows painted or lacquered multiple times are more susceptible to timber damage.

🚿 Shower Screen Warranty

We stand by the quality of our shower screens with:

  • 3-year warranty on materials (glass, metal, fittings).

  • 1-year warranty on installation workmanship.

What’s Covered:

  • Defective glass, hardware (hinges, pivots, handles, etc.), and materials.

  • Faults caused by poor workmanship.

  • Installation using mildew-resistant silicone.

Not Covered:

  • Modified shower screens.

  • Lack of proper maintenance.

  • General wear and tear.

  • Mildew or mould on silicone.

  • Damage from unsuitable cleaning products.

Care Tip:
Use only bathroom cleaners safe for powder-coated or anodised surfaces. Rinse thoroughly after use to avoid damage.

🚗 Vehicle Glass Warranty

We provide a lifetime warranty on materials and workmanship for:

  • Windscreens

  • Side panels

  • Rear windscreens

Conditions:

  • Valid while you own the vehicle. Not transferable if sold or transferred.

  • Warranty work is done at the original service location.

  • Claims must be inspected before approval. Email photos by replying to your invoice or feedback email, or visit our Sandgate workshop during business hours.

Glass Cleanup:

  • We do our best to remove all broken glass from doors, dashboards, and tailgates.

  • Large breakages (e.g. from branches, bricks, balls) may result in tiny glass splinters. We’ll clean as thoroughly as possible, but professional cleaning may be required (at your cost).

Leak Guarantee:

  • Lifetime guarantee against leaks in fixed, bonded glass (windscreens, rear glass, urethane side panels).

  • No warranty if rust is found near the glass area during or after installation.

Conditions on paint work:

  • Urethane fitted windscreens will typically, have a strip of cloth tape from the windscreen to the roof. This must be removed by end of day, by the customer as instructed.

  • Koala Glass will take no responsibility for damaged paintwork caused by the cloth tape

Leak Checklist (Before Claiming):

  • Does your vehicle have roof racks or a sunroof? These can cause leaks that appear around the windscreen area.

  • Has rust developed since the installation? Undetected rust beneath the windscreen can void the warranty.
